Chito Vera finishes UFC 239 in the Second Round!

Round 1 – After exchanging strikes early on, Chito catches a kick and attempts a takedown. Chito takes it and the ground, acquires back position and fights for the choke. He transitions to mount and goes for an armbar. Hernandez gets free and starts heavy ground and pound on Chito. Chito tries for a triangle choke seconds for the bell rings.

Round 2 – Head kick lands for Hernandez, but Chito is unfazed. Hernandez lands a takedown, but can’t do much there. He postures and punches again before standing up and kicking the legs a bit. Vera scrambles up, as well. He gets aggressive, and a knee lands and turns into a takedown. Hernandez is hurt, and Vera moves to his back. This time he gets the choke quickly under the chin and earns the tap.
